Congrats to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Football and Men's Basketball team on their win this past week. The UAPB Football won this weekend against Texas Southern Tigers (42-6) in their last game, which was also Senior Day and Take A Kid to the Game Day. Senior Stephen Jones taillied 92 yards and two rushing touchdowns as Arkansas-Pine Bluff used a solid running game to defeat Texas Southern. Benjamin Anderson threw two touchdown passes completing a 27-yearder to Rontrell Bailey in the third quarter, and a 57-yarder to T.J. Shelton in the fourth.

Also, congratulations to the UAPB Men's Basketball team as they took a big win tonight vs FIU (Florida International). Top performer tonight for UAPB according to ESPN is M. Anderson with 19 Pts, 7 Reb, 0 Ast, 2 Stl, 0 Blk. Stat Leaders: Pts: 2 tied at 19, Reb: D. Broughton 9, Ast: 2 tied at 3, Stl: S. Townsend 8, Blk: 3 tied at 1. The UAPB Basketball team just came from taking two losses at the NIT Tournament last week against Oklahoma State (73-46) in the opening round and later losing to Oral Roberts (80-44).
