BET's "106 & Park" To Not Be Canceled

The popular countdown program during the evening, BET's  "106 & Park will not be ending its twelve year run after all. Rumors spur began with a now-deleted message from the show's Twitter account. Yesterday, "106 & Park's" Twitter account reportedly posted that on September 28th, 2012 that would be the last episode of the popular countdown program. After a short time the tweet was deleted, but not before it was seen by many which sparked rumors that the show will be done after the host Terrence J and Rocsi left.

BET's "106 & Park" is currently doing a search for their new host's to replace the current long-time host's Terrence J and Rocsi as they announced their departure in May and will leave at the end of September and moving on to bigger careers. Terrence J has been confirmed to replace Ryan Seacreat as E! Entertainment News Anchor.

Tweets from frantic fans reached all the way to Stephen Hill, who is BET's President of Music Programming. Later after the tweet about the popular countdown program going off the air, the "106 & Park" Twitter account (@106andpark) tweeted once again, this time officially putting rumors to rest, stating that the show would return October 1st with new hosts.  The show been planning to give Terrance J and Rocsi a proper farewell, and start fresh with their new host.
