What's is the D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign?

The D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign is a campaign program started by D.J's Music Site Senior Editor, D.J. Jr. to recognize and honor all of the HBCU's (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) and their history across the United States by including an writing and praising their achievements, goals and program along with a bio of their history into the D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign Hall of Fame. The D.J's Music Site Hall of Fame can be found here. D.J's Music Site itself is an non-profit website that actually promotes music from signed and unsigned artist and is an source for latest celebrity news and events. We feel like it's a special honor in some where to attend an HBCU of higher education because HBCU trend to help you from failing and to suceed in life compare to attending an non-HBCU college. HBCU's are also diverse, they don't just focused on Black's, their enrollment is mixed populated. Every month D.J's Music Site will recognize an HBCU that's been voted in by the people through a voting poll. Voting will begin by the 15th of every month.

What is our mission of the D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign?

Our idea of our campaign is to give back to those HBCU's for being the college and university that they are. D.J's Music Site research and knows that money and scholarships within the HBCU community is becoming very limited so we would like to help out by better funding and bring more scholarships options for the students who attends these HBCU's. We also want to better the students as well by creating and holding an leadership summit/conference to be held at different HBCU sites which will be lead into a main conference that will be held in an major city for a couple days to come and discuss daily HBCU issues, and how to better and keep our HBCU's going. Talk about more programs on the campuses that don't have many programs and how to get more resources in our colleges and universities. D.J's Music Site wants to fly select students and the HBCU's SGA's to be apart and participate in the conference/summit. We also will have an Alumni selection and gathering at the conference for those who graduated from an HBCU.

D.J's Music Site wants to make the campaign better, we will love feedback !

We would love your ideas and help with our campaign to improve it and make it better in any way. We would also appreciate donations that can help with the programs to fund our ideas in better HBCU funding, build scholarships and create the leadership conference/summit that we plan to create in the near future. Without your help, we can't make a difference within our HBCU's. The more young ones that are dieing and getting killed today means less enrollment in our HBCU's and also means less funding and resources that the government will provide for our colleges and universities. You donate via PayPal by clicking the donation add below. We will also like your help in helping us promote the HBCU campaign. If you will like to be apart and help promote you can shoot us an e-mail to hbcucampaign@djsmusicsite.com with your Name, Age, Are you currently attending an HBCU (Yes/No), If so, what college/university? Are you an Alumni? (Yes/No), If so, where did you attend and when did you graduate?
