Boy.... If you DO NOT have tickets to this summer's 'Legends of the Summer' Tour starring Justin Timberlake & Jay Z, you're losing! The nonstop performance Monday night at Soldier Field proved that they are a perfect entertainment match. I think this tour puts the 'Watch The Throne'Tour to shame. Two of the biggest stars in pop and hip-hop performed about 35 songs back-to-back, and it was just the right balance of both genres of music.
To an SOLD-OUT crowd, they had a large backing band and a killer RED stage with an orchestra style center with two screens on the side. They even wore matching cloths, which featured a short-sleeved white shirts with black pants. Jay Z showed style with his hat, suit & tie ish, tie ish!
The legendary duo opened up the show with "Holy Grail," like they have in precious performances. They then went on to sing for over two hours from one hit to the next hit without any breaks. The concerts went from JT and Jay Z together, to Jay Z set to JT set to Jay Z and JT back together and then encore. This was one of those shows that you'll never forget, and if you weren't there, you'll wish you could had went.
The entire place was packed.. trust us we know, we had to worked the concert and barely anyone left until the concert had completely ended.
Chicago's set-list was very different from their other 'Legends of the Summer'tour stops and they only performed two encores which included 'Suit & Tie' and an Trayvon Martin dedication with the Jay Z song 'Forever Young.'
If you missed JT on this one, he has announced additional dates for "The 20/20 Experience Tour!". So you can catch him again live later this year.
