Let's flashback in some news this week. The crew at D.J's Music Site apologize for a weeks absence, we are back now.

In this past week, we learned that the married couple duo of Beyonce & Jay Z has purchased the old Regal Theatre in Chicago on 79th street in Chicago. Th theatre was home to many different events on the south side including Tyler Perry's Madea plays.

Guess how much they paid for it? Only $250,000.

The theatre been closed for over a year now and after being restored with City TIFF funds. They have a plan to restore and bring entertainment back to the 2,500 seat venue on Chicago's south side.

The former owners of the New Regal Theatre closed it on 2003 because it was a money pit. It was purchased in 2008 and did hold a party to celebrate Barack Obama's presidential nomination acceptance speech in August 2008.
