Introducing HBCU Campaign's HBCU Marching Band of the Month!
Along with our HBCU of the Month initiative that recognizes an HBCU each month on their accomplishments and achievements on being an HBCU that serves higher education to not only their cultural of blacks but minorities.
We are introducing on an idea that was mention by an HBCU student and current HBCU marching band member, HBCU Marching Band of the Month. This initiative will honor a different HBCU Marching Band each month BUT we want participating from the HBCU community. We want you to submit and vote on bands that we should honor from month to month and that YOU feel deserves to be honored and into into our HBCU Campaign. You question is how do I do that?
Send an e-mail to hbcucampaign@djsmusicsite.com and submit the band's name, school's name, a short bio of the band (if you can tell us a little bit more), and a video of the band performing (from YouTube, etc.). Submission will be due by the 15th of each month.
The most submitted HBCU band or voted will be announced on the 25th.
To kick off this initiative; our first band to be honored is ....... the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South (M4)! voted by Joshua Strong who spoke of this idea. A very special 'Thank You' goes to Mr. Strong!
