Lana Del Rey is gearing up to the release of her forthcoming album. Lana had a busy Memorial Day weekend. She helped Kanye West and Kim Kardashian kick off there pre-wedding bash, and also debuted two songs from the new album. Ultraviolence is out June 17.
On this past Sunday (May 25), she released "Shades of Cool," a moody James Bond-esque balled track. Then later that same night, she made the live debut of her upcoming album's track at her show in Vancouver. The dark orchestral track has Lana talking about an abusive love affair, singing that she's been "blessed with beauty and rage." It even features a little spoken word that has her swearing, "You're my cult leader/I really love you forever."
