Last week, Jenny came back to the block returning to the Bronx. Jenny love to talk about her days riding the 6 train in the Bronx, but never got a chance to play a full show in her home town before last Wednesday.
Lopez, did an one on one interview on Good Morning America showing her walking through her old stomping ground of her neighborhood in the Bronx.
She appeared at Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park to perform an 90-minute set. The concert was free and it kicked off a national music series, sponsored by State Farm Insurance.
Lopez went back to the back to do some of her classic hits to some tracks from her upcoming album, "A.K.A.," out June 17th. She lay them with hits from over the years, like "Love Don't Cost A Thing" to "If You Had My Love.""Waiting for Tonight" and her new single "First Love," which is produced by the king of Swedish candy pop Max Martin.
The show was featured a full line of dancers, fireworks and flame, enhanced by real lasers, and blasts of smoke. To help her out, she had special guest performers, including Ja Rule, French Montana, and Fat Joe.
Before the release of her new album out June 17th, Jenny will make her way to Chicago to perform an the annual B96 Pepsi SummerBash music festival to perform along with Pitbull, Jason DeRulo, Austin Mahone, Iggy Azalea, Icona Pop, Hot Chelle Rae, Little Mix and G.R.L. on Saturday, June 14th at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.
We at D.J's Music Site can't wait to see her at the SummerBash!
