After all the Controversy, Aaliyah Biopic (which is based on a book, Aaliyah: More Than a Woman, by Christopher Farley) is back on to coming to Lifetime as planned.
According to source; things got a little messy when Aaliyah's family was upset the movie wasn't coming to the big screen so allegedly said the network was not allowed to use her music. And also leading star, Zendaya, who was suppose to play Aaliyah stepped down and the movie was put on a hold.
But a BIG thanks to Wendy Williams and her production team, they'll be helping to put the movie back together and Alexandra Shipp (who is KT from House of Anubis on Nickelodeon) will be the new Aaliyah.
There is still no word if Lifetime still have gotten rights to use Aaliyah's music yet.
