LOS ANGELES, CA - This Monday, 48 HBCU teams will go head-to-head in a college-bowl face-off called the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge.
About Honda Campus All-Star Challenge
The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC), now in it's 26th season, highlights the wealth of academic talent at America's Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Honda supports HBCUs because of the unique and critical role they play in higher education, and because they have helped literally millions of students achieve their dreams through the years.
More than $7.5 million in grants from Honda have provided support for book & tuition scholarships facilities upgrades, and other investments to improve the student experience.
Through participation in HCASC, students gain skills and connections which benefit their lives, their careers, and their communities. They start as competitors, but they come "friends for life". This network of over 100,000 supports each other to realize "The Power of Dreams."
