PINE BLUFF, AR - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) to host their annual pageant to showcase the candidates running for the Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff position. The 2015 Miss UAPB Showcase will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Building on the campus. This event is free; however donations will be accepted to go in benefit of Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and her Royal Court.

The showcase will feature candidates:

Brianna Allen; who is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a junior at the University. Allen is a STEM Scholar, a member of the UAPB Spirit Squad and Vice President of Delta Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc..

Jalyssa Gardner; who is also a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a junior at the University as well. Garden is former Miss Sophomore 2013-2014. She is a member of the Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. 

According to the university's roar student handbook, Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff shall act as a official hostess of the campus. She shall also coordinate and promote University-community relationships.
