-- It's that time of year again. UAPB (University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff) Homecoming 2012. D.J's Music Site supports the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. UAPB's Homecoming Kickoff's next week, which is October 21st - 27th. This year's theme is "Experience The Pride" as they take on the Mississippi Valley State Devils on October 27th.

UAPB's Homecoming always kickoff with the UAPB Day featuring UAPB's M4 Band (Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South), Vesper Choir and Head Coach Monte Coleman along with the football team at Full Counsel Church, 10:30AM start follow by Gospel Extravaganza hosted by UAPB Student Government Association on UAPB campus in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Auditorium at 5PM then Midnight Madness Homecoming Kick-off at the W.E. O'Bryant Bell Tower, 10PM. Other UAPB Homecoming events include: Senior Stunt Night (Monday), Black & Gold Assembly (Tuesday), Miss UAPB Coronation Ceremony (Wednesday), Street Jams/Bonfire which is sponsored by WalMart this year (Thursday), Homecoming Greek Step Show (Friday), Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Game & Band Marching Festival (Saturday).

UAPB was announced as our first HBCU to be honor in our newly started HBCU Campaign to honor all HBCU around the United States, you can read their bio here. UAPB is located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. They are known as "Flagship of the Delta." Their mascot is the Golden Lions and they're conference in the SWAC.
