Have you ever been to a concert at the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago? Well, you if have you probably enjoyed the outdoor venue because of the lake effect winds and the breathtaking view of the Chicago skyline along Lake Michigan.
This summer, Charter One Pavilion could be expanded to be able to hold 20,000 people with the addition of lawn seating.
The Chicago Park District has proposed to have the 5.9 arces of land by the Charter One Pavilion reconfigured to feature lawn-style seating, more trees, and they would also increase the fixed seating from 8,000 to 8,600, thus increating ticket sales.

He has seen Destiny's Child on their last tour "Destiny's Fulfilled & Lovin' It" tour when the pavilion first open to Black Eyed Peas on their "Monkey Business" Tour to Mary J Blige, Carly Rae Jepsen, Austin Mahone and Boys Like Girls.
The Plan Commission will meet Thursday at City Hall to vote on the $3 million project funded by Live Nation entertainment company.
