Did you remember last year, when Usher's stepson was in an boating accident and he was declared brain dead and then died after being hit in the head by a jet ski? Well, according to source; Usher's son Usher Raymond V has been hospitalized and is currently in ICU at an Atlanta hospital after he was involved in a serious pool accident on Monday, Aug. 5.

According to Popcrush & TMZ; the incident took place around 6PM local time yesterday. Usher was not at home when the accident occur.

TMZ reports that Usher Raymond V, who is just 5, was playing in the pool with his aunt. He noticed a toy was in the drain so he drove down to retrieve it. That's when his arm got stuck in the drain. His aunt swam down to try and rescue him, but could not get his hand out. A maid also drove in and tried to yank the little boy's hand free but that attempt was also futile.

Two men who were working in the house heard the maid's screams and rushed to URV's rescue. They drove in and freed the boy, who was given CPR and rushed to the hospital. Usher arrived in time to travel to the hospital bis ambulance with his little boy.

Usher and ex-wife Tameka, who had an acrimonious divorce, are said to be at the hospital with their son. He is the oldest of the former couple's two boys.

Tests have been ran and it's said that Usher's Raymond V will be okay.

Whew! we are glad and our hearts, love and prayers goes out to the Raymond family during this time.

Kile Glover, Tameka's 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, died after he was injured in a jet ski accident last July. He was floating in the water and was hit in the head and eventually died from his injuries.

Be careful with being in the water, either it's a pool or you swimming at the beach. There have been a lot of accidents in the recent years.
