The Wanted are pleased to announce the release of their new video and single 'Glow In The Dark' taken from their November release 'Word of Mouth'. They are very excited to perform 'Glow In The Dark' along with their smash singles 'I Found You', 'Chasing The Sun', and 'Glad You Came', amongst others for their fans on their upcoming Word of Mouth Tour.
This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour's conclusion. The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour.
While the future is uncertain for The Wanted, in the boy band world an extended break rarely ends well. *NSYNC announced their "temporary hiatus" back in 2002 and has not recorded new material since.
History of The Wanted:
The Waned formed in 2009 after mass auditions where more than 1,000 musicians showed up in hopes to garner a slot in the boy band. They released their debut self-titled album in 2010 which was followed by Battleground in 2011 and Word of Mouth in 2013. Thanks to their No. 1 hit "Glad You Came" and a reality show, The Wanted Life, the boy band grew in popularity where they earned their slot on the boy band map next to fellow boy banders, One Direction. It is not confirmed which member is working on a solo project, but Nathan Sykes recently dueted with his girlfriend Ariana Grande on her single "Almost Is Never Enough."
