We feel like it's a special honor in some where to attend an HBCU of higher education because HBCU's trend to help you from failing and preparing for the workforce world, you are also not just a number compare to attending an non-HBCU college. HBCU's are also diverse, they don't just focused on black's, they welcome White's, Mexican's and Internationals. Every month the HBCU Campaign will recognize an HBCU that's been picked at random in December before the new year rings in.
What is our mission of the HBCU Campaign?
Our idea of the HBCU Campaign is to basically give back to those HBCU's for being the college and universities that they are. The HBCU campaign research and knows that money and scholarships within the HBCU community is becoming decreased and well as our HBCU's so we would like to help keep them alive by better funding and bring more scholarship options for the students who attends these HBCUs. We also want to better the students as well by creating and holding an leadership summit/conference to be held at different HBCU sites which will be lead into a main conference that will be held in an major city for a couple days to come and discuss HBCU issues, and how to better and keep our HBCUs going. Talk about more program on campuses that don't have any program, how to get more resources in our colleges and universities, train other HBCUs to be better on their HBCU campuses. HBCU Campaign wants to fly select students and the HBCU SGA's to be part and participate in the conference/summit. We also will have an alummi selection and gathering at the conference for those who graduated from an HBCU.
