It about that time of the year for the annual BET Awards.

And they say the couple who slay together, stay together right?? And this powerful couple; Beyoncé and Jay Z are "On The Run" to literally run this years BET Awards.

The duo is nominated for total of six awards, with four each under their belt and the duo is even nominated together for best collaboration and video of the year for "Drunk in Love."

Beyoncé will face off against herself for that video of the year nomination, as her "Partition" video is also up in the category. Her final of the four nominations is for best female R&B/pop artist.

Jay Z himself is also squaring off against himself in best collaboration, where his track  "Holy Grail" with Justin Timberlake from his Magna Carta.... Holy Grail album is in the running. He is also nominated for best male hip-hop artist.

Other artists who are nominated are Pharrell, Drake, Chris Brown and August Aslina follow the dynamic duo with three nominations each.
