The D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign's HBCU of the Month, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff are offering incoming freshmen to be apart of their LIONS Program LIONS Program (Learning Institute and Opportunities for New Students), which is an summer residential academic enrichment program that assists new freshmen admitted to UAPB for the fall semester.

Students will enroll in six hours of English and algebra. Student enrichment sessions include academic tutoring, orientation to college, and personal and social success seminars for a smooth transition to college life. The five week program begins July 7 and ends August 8, 2014.
