Tuesday, Chris Brown took to Twitter to apologize to the fans in Chicago for not being able to perform at this year's B96 Radio Pepsi SummerBash which takes place this Saturday at Toyota Park.

Brown, who was released from jail on June 2nd after spending more than two months behind bars for violating a court order relating to his conviction for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Back in March, B96 scheduled Brown to perform with an announced line-up of Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Austin Mahone and Jason Derulo but pulled out after confirming he was unable to attend.

Chris Brown tweeted out this directed to the radio station behind the concert:

Representatives from the station's 'The J Show' wrote back in reply to Brown's message:
