PINE BLUFF, AR. - Congratulations to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's wide receiver Willie Young who was named Southwestern Athletic Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office and UAPB's Athletic website on Monday, November 3rd.

Young, a 6-1, 180 red shirt wide receiver from New Orleans, La., shared the honor with Chris Leachman of Alabama A&M, who was also named.

This past weekend,  the Golden Lions took the victory over Mississippi Valley State of an 24-14 win at home. Young recorded 175 yards on 10 receptions as he scored all three of UAPB's touchdown.

This week is UAPB's homecoming and they will face the Prairie View A&M University Panthers (3-4).
