Geensboro, NC - During the summer of 2014, the HBCU Campaign Founder announced that North Carolina A&T State University located in Greensboro, North Carolina will join the list of twelve HBCUs that the HBCU Campaign organization celebrates yearly.
North Carolina A&T State University is a public Historically Black College and University. The institution was founded by act of the North Carolina General Assembly, on March 9, 1891, as The Agricultural and Mechanical College for the Colored Race. It is the second college established under the Morrill Land-Grant Act and the first people of color in the state of North Carolina.
All February long, North Carolina A&T State University will be celebrated through social media to bring awareness to not just the institution but Historically Black Colleges and Universities as a whole.
The HBCU Campaign also campaign for donations in initiative of our 'HBCU of the Month' program and our foundation entitle #KeepHBCUsAlive. All contributions and proceeds collected during the month of February 2015 goes to the institution.
