I Am... Keshia Knight Pulliam, who is an American actress. I am best known for my childhood role as Rudy Huxtable, the youngest child of Cliff and Clair Huxtable on the NBC sitcom, The Cosby Show. In 1986, I became the youngest actress to be nominated for an Emmy Award, receiving a nomination at the age of six for supporting actress.
I made my professional debut in at nine months old, when I was in a national print advertisement for Johnson & Johnson baby products. I continued working, appearing in television commercials and TV shows, and making my feature-film debut in "The Last Dragon" (1985), all before turning five years-old. At the age of three, I played "Keshia" on Sesame Street. I rank # 19 in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Kid Stars".
I attended Spelman College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology in 2001. While at Spelman, I became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In 2002, I won the celebrity version of Fear Factor, as well as The Weakest Link, and participated in Celebrity Mole 2: Yucatan. In 2005, I played Darnelle in Beauty Shop with Queen Latifah.
In 2008, I joined the cast of Tyler Perry's House of Payne as Miranda, the role earned me a 2009 & 2010 NCAAP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. In 2013, I was a contestant on the ABC celebrity diving show Splash.
