PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Office of Recruitment will host its annual Lion Fever Day this Friday, April 10, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with nearly 500 students representing 35 school districts will attend along with 3 community service service groups, and community college students.

Lion Fever Day is designed to allow seniors and juniors an opportunity to see various parts of UAPB's campus and experience speaking with collegiate advisors personally in an effort to gain details about his/her desired area or major. Activities will include a college fair, campus tour, a chance to hear the university marching band and view performances from select Greek organizations.

"Lion Fever Day is a tradition which dates back 20 or more years," said Chris Robinson (Director of Recruitment) "We want students to have an opportunity to come to our campus to see for themselves what [UAPB] has to offer."

The D.J's Music Site HBCU Campaign plans to attend Lion Fever Day this Friday to capture the moment of the fellow high school juniors and seniors whose seeking to attend an HBCU. Our President, Demetrius Johnson, Jr. is schedule to be a participant to prep the high schoolers in attending an historically black college or university.
