I am advertising my web-site which I believe offers a sound and complete system for the production of professional turntable music. The web-site is called "The Iconic Prism Installation",found via google, and it offers the recreation of both the stave and octave for the exclusive use in turntable music production.Most notably the production of turntable music is I believe a founding attribute of the hugely successful Shine night held in Queens University Belfast, Northern Ireland. Shine has been an event that has offered all of the important names in turntable music production and I hope all of the acts will be as enthusiastic as I that a sound professional platform has been achieved via my work as DJ and media man. The shocking news hit the world Saturday right before Grammy night. Whitney Houston the Queen of Pop that we all loved was announced dead by media and new sources around the world, BUT she was only pronounced with no factors on how she died. As resources were release and more and more details came about her death, they are still unknown on how Whitney Houston died.
Whitney Houston is known her singles such as "I Will Always Love You", "I'm Every Woman" and "I Look to You".
As reported, Whitney Houston was found dead in the bathtub of the hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Saturday, hours before Houston was supposed to appear at a Pre-Grammy Party. It's been reported that she also had prescription drugs in her room. Houston Aunt who was laying out her dress for the night's party, left for 30 minutes and came back to found her underwater. Authorities said that there were no indications of trauma or foul play but it could be weeks before the coroner's office completes autospy and toxicology tests to tell the cause of death.
It also been reported that Whitney's 18 year old daughter, Bobbi Kristina was rush to the hospital because of "Stress and Anxiety" from the loss of her mother. Her daughter is not taking the loss well. Houston ex-husband was reported to be "in and out of crying fits" since recieving the news. Brown did not cancel the scheduled performance and within hours of his ex-wife's sudden death, an audience in Mississippi observed as Brown bles kissed skyward, tearfully saying: "I love you, Whitney".
Whitney Houston, who was 48 years old had struggled for years with drugs such as cocaine, marijuana and pills and she was in and out of rehab back in 2011. The coroner's office released the body to the family late Monday morning and the singer family is flying her body back to New Jersey for a funeral and memorial, possibly on Friday in her homtown of Newark. The family raised the possibility of a wake Thursday and a funeral Friday at Newark's Prudential Center, an arena that cen seat about 18,000.

UAPB Golden Lions roar to double victory this past weekend
This past weekend, D.J's Music Site went to see the Golden Lions in action as they faced Alabama A&M Bulldogs (Sat., Feb. 4th) and Alabama State Hornets on (Mon, Feb 6th) both was at home at the H.O. Clemmons Arena. Saturday's game against Alabama A&M Bulldogs winning 81-75. UAPB's Mitchell Anderson had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Guard Lazabian Jackson had 11 points and seven rebounds with seven assists, PG Savalace Townsend had 16 points and Rontrell Bailey had 10 points the Golden Lions took the win by 6 points ending it with a 2 game winning streak . Monday's game against the Alabama State Hornets was kinda nervous recking as the Golden Lions took the won by 1 points. The Lions started off with a good lead of 13-3 but when it got the the second half, fouls after bad calls after fouls were call against Arkansas Pine-Bluff to give the Hornets a chance to catch up which they end up losing by 1 point wining 61-62. Daniel Broughton with the block at the end of the game causing the clock to time out for the win. Savalace Townsend scored up 18 points in that game. The Golden Lions will pack up and travel to face the Southern Jaguars this weekend on Sat, Feb. 11th in Baton Rouge then travel to Alcorn to face the Braves before returning back home next weekend for last weekend at home before the season home closer on March 1st against Mississippi Valley State. On the other hand, the Lady Lions weren't looking too good this weekend as they lost 61-55 on Saturday against the Lady Bulldogs and 68-57 on Monday against the Lady Hornets.  If you missed the Super Bowl Halftime show with Madonna, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, then you missed a outstanding halftime show. Madonna came out with the Michael Jackson type entrance with Roman Warriors entering the Bridgestone show by taking us back old school with her old songs such as "Vogue" and "Music" marsh up with "Party Rock Anthem" and busting out the shuffle as it goes into "Sexy and I Know it". Then she did the first ever TV preformance of her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. They join us on stage (above picture) as egyptians type cheerleaders, Madonna then ended the show with Cee-Lo Green as he came out as band leader with his choir which Madonna slowed down singer the show with "Like A Prayer". They dimmed the lights in the crowd and everyone waved lights. That was the hottest SuperBowl Halftime Show we ever seen. We still think the Black Eyed Peas did a good show as well last year. Two days ago, Madonna release the new single and the music video for it. UAPB Golden Lions Weekend Action

The Lady Lions and Golden Lions had an exciting past weekend. The Lady Lion and Golden Lions Basketball teams faced off Grambling State and Jackson State this past Saturday and Monday at the H.O. Clemmons Arena. Saturday vs Grambling State; the Lady Lions took tough lost against the Lady Tigers 56-69, and the Golden Lions took a 5 point lost against the Tigers losing 55-60. In that game Mitchell Anderson scored 12 points and Savalace Townsend with 11 points. Savalace Townsend also shocked the crowd with his amazing dunk which he flew over atleast 3 Grambing players. You can check out that dunk below. On the other hand we at D.J's Music Site heard that the UAPB Track & Field team had a successful time at the Arkansas State Invitational in Jonesboro, Arkanasas. The Lady Lions and Golden Lions came back that following Monday to the H.O. Clemmons Arena to face off Jackson State and was it a game. The Lady Lions took another tough lost 51-59 against the JSU Lady Tigers and the Golden Lions weren't giving up without a fight to beat those JSU Tigers by winning 73-69. Daniel broughton and Savalace Townsend combined for six straight points.
The Lady Lions and Golden Lions are still at home and will not travel as they are set to face Alabama A&M this Saturday, February 4th and Alabama State Monday, February 6th both at the H.O. Clemmons Arena. The Track & Field team will be traveling back our way to participate in the SIU (Southern Illinois University) Invitational on February 3rd thru 4th. Good Luck to all the UAPB Golden Lion Athletes !! Keep up the Good work to strive for the best!!

s you know D.J's Music Site is a big supporter of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. It's is now Spring Semester and it's time to hold it down in some SWAC Basketball. The Golden Lions has been having some rough games lately but they are working on a plan to regroup and come back together. Before they left last week to play Texas Southern and Paririe View A&M, they made a BIG victory at home vs Alcorn State winning 75-69. Now the Lady Lions and Golden Lions are back in PB and is set to have 4 home games for 2 weekends in a row, starting this Saturday, January 28th vs Grambling State and Monday, January 30th vs Jackson State. Then the following weekend; Saturday, Feb 4th vs Alabama A&M and Monday, Feb 6th vs Alabama State. This Saturday according to the flyer (on your left) is Greek Night, wear your Greek attire to the game, purchase a game ticket and you will recieve a $2 off concession coupon. The games on Saturday are; Lady Lions (5pm start), Golden Lions (7pm start) and on Monday; Lady Lions (5:30pm start), Golden Lions (7:30pm start). Also, Good Luck to the UAPB Women's and Men's Track team as they travel to participate in the Arkansas State Invitational in Jonesboro, Arkansas
Etta James dies at 73, World reacts on Twitter

Yesterday the R&B/Soul world lost a great legend by the name of Etta James. Etta James was 73. She was diagnosed with leukemia in early 2011 and the illness worsen and was announce almost dead by her Doctor in December 2011. By in 2008, when she was hospitalized it was announced that she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She pass away early yesterday morning started by her longtime friend and manager, Lupe De Leon. She had her husband and sons by her side at the Riveside Hospital in California from complications from Leukemia. She would had been 74 on Wednesday. Selena Gomez Cancels Weekend Concerts After Mother Suffers From Miscarriage

Selena Gomez had to cancel on two holiday-themed concerts scheduled for yesterday and tonight. Her rap says Selena is OK, calling the cancel reasons an "Family Emergency".

The Disney Wizards of Waverly Place star was set to perform yesterday night at our very own B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont which is right outside of Chicago and today at the 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theater in Seattle. The entire KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash has been postpone because OneRepublic also had to cancel with Ryan Tedder ordered by doctors to go on vocal rest. KISS FM has announce that the new date for the Jingle Bell Bash will be announced on January 6th, 2012.
Selena was in the audience at the Power 106's Cali Christmas 2011 concert in Los Angeles friday night when she learned of her mother's tragic news. Selena immediately left the show and headed home to be with her family. Gomez is still scheduled to perform during MTV's live New Year's Eve special hosted by her Disney friend Demi Lovato and Tyler Posey.
